It's only been a week but it already feels like a year since I've seen the GB guys. It's a beautiful day for an outdoor show though, and I headed out to the Williamsburg waterfront to meet up and soundcheck. The afternoon went fairly smoothly, got it dialled in, and I even had time to head back home and relax before the show.
I got back a little bit before show time, wasn't much going on, but the park was slammed. Maybe 8,000 people. More than any of us expected. The guys ended up playing a great show, they even said it might have been their best ever. It turns out that Jay-Z and Beyonce were hanging out at front of house for the show, and Jay was freestyling to himself during the set. Wild! Once it was over, there wasn't a whole lot happening. We wrapped up and bailed, that was pretty much it…
